 How much will this cost?
NOTE: We just got word from Carnival of a PRICE REDUCTION FOR OUR GROUP!
We don't want to confuse anyone with too many facts and numbers, but we do want everyone to understand what they are paying for, and to know that we have bargained for the best price for you.
Effective March 13th, there is an additional $50.00 price break which reduces your cost, and these numbers now reflect that reduction.
We know that anyone on the internet will see a lot of advertised prices for cruises. Those prices don't add all the different government taxes, or they will add sales tax, and say it includes taxes but not tell you about the "port fees," or in other words, the Mexican taxes, etc.
On the BajaGay.com Mexican Riviera cruise, we will tell you everything before you sign up. We are going to be cruising WITH you, so we don't want to be there and have additional charges arise!
Further, Carnival Cruises guarantee us the lowest price, and if prices should go down, they will credit us to match any lower price.
So, here's the numbers so you know everything:
We have negotiated a TWO CATEGORY upgrade, which moves us UP to either the Main Deck or Upper Deck for a price of $509.00. The normal sale price for this is $679.00 per person; our price is $559.00. We've seen rooms on the lowest, Riviera Deck for $509.00, but as you will see, our upgrade is a nice improvement.
Any advertised price that ends in a round number is a price that does not include taxes because that taxes and fees for this cruise total $60.50. So if we add the $559.00 and $60.50 together, this new total comes to $619.50 for the complete fare and taxes.
The other thing that you will not see in the advertisements is that TIPS are expected, and Carnival adds $10 per day to every passenger bill. We consider that $10 per day is cheap, and some passengers will give additional tips. But we include only the $80.00 that Carnival considers a required disclosure, and this brings our total to $699.50.
Now... because you are part of the BajaGay.com Mexican Riviera cruise, you get a CREDIT to your on-board account of $50.00! This is a gift to you!
Once you are "on-board" you enter a "cash-less" world. You will receive your "Sign and Sail" card, and if you want to buy something in one of the stores, order cocktails, etc., you just show your card. All of your on-board charges go on this account. So, this account will begin with $50.00 in your favor!
Remember that $50.00 up-charge that got us out of the lowest deck? This $50.00 credit means that you just received a TWO CATEGORY upgrade for free!
IN ADDITION: Other passengers won't benefit from the normal hidden credits that travel agents receive, because on the BajaGay.com Mexican Riviera cruise, these credits are being given to you! Every stateroom will receive one free bottle of wine! We also will be going to an "Invitation only" hosted cocktail party! It's like a one hour drinking contest where you get to drink as much as you want, and it's all free.
We are talking with some gay friends in cities on our cruise and arranging a party in a gay bar in Acapulco; perhaps a beach party in Manzanillo. Who knows what other "goodies" we might arrange!
Because we will be at sea over Halloween, expect a great party that night, with lot's of fun! It's a night you will tell people about for a long time!
Please ask questions in a reply!
