I think that this is a good idea. We will have a full day in Acapulco and the museum pickings/culture options are slim. I am not particularly interested in shopping; I live in Mexico and have lived in Mexico for 8 years, I have all the tourist trade items I want and, Acapulco is not Oaxaca, DF or Puebla. I think that it will likely be hot and humid and good beach weather. And, while I am in a committed relationship, I have no objection to eye candy and pleasant conversation. The four hour tour seems a little long to my taste but I am ready to be surprised and I have no alternative plan in mind and I am reassured by Kevin's commitment to keep me away from known tourist traps.. As to the price, it seems a little on the high side at $80., but not so much to discourage me. With a large enough group the $60. rate seems just about right. However, if in fact Kevin provides the package as described AND competent guide service and if I get to meet one person whom I find interesting and worthy of friendship, the tab seems OK. And, I also have a desire to experience a pleasant day that will be remembered with happiness. I really related to Kevin's sensitivity to crowds, swarms of vendors, and tourist trap offerings.

I just found my way to be able to post something here to help make it easier to promote this tour. Thank you Kevin for your presentation to the group here. Very nice. I agree with Ken, the price is competitive as a group. It caters to us as a gay group as well. I think the beach party at the private venue is a big plus, offering a place to clean up and relax afterwards. If we have enough participants the bus is a good thing... If we don't, possibly a limo would be better for a smaller group? However it won't have a restroom on board to unload the beverages we will be enjoying. Acapulco is our main stop and is best for doing a group gay thing. I would like to see as much as possible in a short time. Don't care to be bartering left and right for every ride here and there, especially since I have never been there. We made a great package deal for the cruise, so I figure we can splurge a little in Acapulco. It is a vacation!

When working on a special tour for a large group there are many considerations to factor.
Visiting the beach areas, talking to business owners, finding the flavor of the group.
Ultimately the goal is to put it all together and deliver a package that will please everyone
and will also be economical and profitable. I will be suggesting some revisions tomorrow.

Thank you! We have reached a point where we can begin to firm up our plans, and I appreciate the favorable responses that got us there!

We will now have our pick of beaches and can begin mapping our a tour and reservations along the way. Now is the time for any special requests. If there is something in particular you want to see, make sure it gets on the list.
