In contemplation of taking a group on an outing, I actually drove over for a day visit. In July. Not the smartest thing I've ever done... (who goes to hot springs in the desert in July?) If I find the account of this trip, I will post it here again, or re-create the memory. Meanwhile, here is a little blurb to see if it sparks some other comments.
